Site Evaluation Summary

During my first clinical site visit, I presented a full history and physical and five drug cards. The H&P I presented was on a 73 year old male who was admitted for urinary retention, urinary tract infection, and acute diverticulitis. My site evaluator and I discussed differential diagnoses and various assessments and plans. He provided good constructive feedback on how I could make the patient’s story clearer and flow more efficiently.

During my second site visit, I presented a 37 year old male who was admitted for bright red blood per rectum. This patient had a history of cirrhosis and alcohol abuse, so my evaluator and I discussed all the possible reasons for his gastrointestinal bleed. As per my evaluator’s feedback, I improved in my clinical assement and demonstrated good clinical knowledge.
